Phising e-mail calls and texts

Nets does not request sensitive customer data information over SMS, e-mail or over the phone*

If someone calls and asks you about your card information or asks you to log in with your online banking credentials, hang up the phone call immediately.

If someone asks you to share personal and financial information, delete the SMS immediately.

If you receive a phishing email, you should do the following:

  • Delete it immediately.

  • Do not click on any links.

  • Do not open any attachments.

  • Do not reply to the email.

  • Do not provide any sensitive personal information.

If you have already provided your personal data, you should immediately make sure to block the account(s) or payment card(s) you shared information about.

*Exceptions for requests to update company information. These requests are related to Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations that apply to all financial institutions. In these requests, the information is always sent via a secure online form. You can read more about this topic here.
