The IC++ model is a widely used pricing structure in the payments industry. It breaks each transaction into three components:

• Interchange (IC)

• Scheme fees (+)

• Acquirer markup (+)

IC++ provides a clear, itemized view of how each transaction cost is built.

To enhance efficiency and flexibility for our customers and in turn make it easier for you to read and understand your settlement reports making your bookkeeping simpler.

The change is introduced at different times for different Merchants. If you have received a letter stating that the new format will be added to your agreement, you will find the exact implementation date in the letter.

You will experience a more streamlined and transparent fee structure in your reporting and billing set-up. Fees that previously appeared as separate lines will now be grouped into clearer categories, following the IC++ calculation model. You will see the difference on your settlement report on the fee part of the specification.

• Consequently, CSV/XML files will contain fewer rows, reflecting the simplified structure

There will be no changes to the invoices you receive via email or PEPPOL network (EAN / EHF / eInvoice etc.). The invoice review in MyNets will reflect the new fee structure. In MyNets you will see fewer lines, with fees grouped under broader names categories called scheme fees.

If you use automated tools or scripts to handle reports, please make sure these are updated accordingly.

Your settlement, payouts, and reporting will continue as usual, however if you use automated reconciliation, the reduced number of fee lines will simplify your process. We recommend that you review your reporting and reconciliation processes to ensure they align with the update.

No. Your payout schedule and settlement timing remain unchanged.

No. Refunds, chargebacks, and dispute processes continue exactly as today.

Most merchants will find reconciliation easier because there are fewer fee lines. If you use automated reconciliation, we recommend reviewing your mapping rules to ensure they align with the new structure.
