Terminal declines transactions - PSAM Error codes and Display errors
You can restart the terminal by holding down the yellow 'Clear' button and the full stop/comma button simultaneously until a blue screen appears.
Even after restarting, if you are still facing problems with your terminal, you can quickly identify the error by looking at a receipt from your terminal or on the terminal's display.
On the receipts image below, you can see examples of some error codes marked in red and yellow.

Error codes:
ASW 1153 - PSAM Closed
This error indicates, that the PSAM card, within the terminal has been closed. Unfortunately, it is not possible to reopen the PSAM card. Please contact our terminal support to get a new PSAM card.
ASW 1200 - No acquiring agreement card type
This error code indicates that your customer is trying to pay with a card which is not included in your Nets acquiring agreement.
ASW 1220
This error code indicates that the PIN-code is required to finalize the purchase on the terminal.

ASW 1300
This error indicates that the transaction amount is identical with the previous transaction. You can resolve this issue by making a transaction on 0 DKK, and then finalize the purchase with the correct amount.
If this doesn’t fix the issue, please contact our technical support.
ASW 1311
This error code indicates an incorrect transaction type. Please contact our terminal support.
ASW 1400 / 1009 - No acquiring agreement card company
This error code indicates, your customer is trying to pay with a card which is not included in your Nets acquiring agreement.
ASW 1618 - No connection to the terminal
Restart the terminal: Hold down the yellow button and the full stop button simultaneously until a blue screen appears.
ASW: 1780 - Wrong date/time
Restart the terminal: Hold down the yellow button and the full stop button simultaneously until a blue screen appears.
Make a reconciliation:
Press Menu
Press 1
Press OK
Make another reconciliation and then the terminal should work again.
If your terminal is still not connected, you can test the following:
Check the SIM card. If you have a wireless terminal, your SIM card may be loose/wrong. Remove the sim card from the terminal, clean the chip, insert the sim card and restart the terminal.
If you have a call time card in the terminal, it may have expired. Check if you have balance, with your telecommunications provider.
Local operational disturbances may also be the reason why your terminal cannot connect to the network. Often it can be solved by changing the network frequency on the terminal. You can get help from the technical support on telephone number: 88 77 70 02.
If you have a wired terminal, you can restart your equipment and the terminal and see if this fixes the problem. Check if the network cable is properly connected in the terminal. If you need more help regarding this, contact the technical support on telephone number: 88 77 70 02.
Alert Eruption
The terminal has shut down. This can happen if the terminal gets hit, if some liquid gets inside or similar situations. Unfortunately, the terminal needs to be replaced. You will have to contact us on telephone number 88 77 70 02.
Control PSAM
If you are experiencing issues with your PSAM terminal and it says "Control PSAM" in the terminal display, please follow the steps below. This often resolves the issue.
Remove the back lid on the terminal.
Remove PSAM.
Remove SIM-card if wireless terminal.
Remove Battery (the battery is connected to the terminal via a little white plug and can be tricky to remove.
Now reassemble the terminal in the following order:
Insert the battery
Turn on the terminal
Insert PSAM
Insert SIM-card
Press down **Clear** and **Comma** simultaneously to reboot terminal.
If this does not resolve the issue, please contact terminal support.
Perform PSAM installation
The terminal must be matched since there are updates to the terminal's chip card.
Press Menu.
Press 1.
Press OK.
