When you have a terminal from Nets, there may be several circumstances where it is useful to know the serial number of the terminal.
On all our terminals you will find a sticker physically on the device, where the serial number is noted, starting with SN.
Besides the sticker, there are alternative ways to find it, depending on your terminal type.
For Viking terminals On the terminal display, you can look at the top centre of the main screen. If it says VIKING PA, then you have a Viking terminal and you can simply press [Down] on the buttons in the middle just below the display; the serial number will now appear on the screen.
The serial number can also be found on the backside of your terminal. See below where you can find your serial number on various models.
Move 3500 - Serial number can be found under the lid on the backside of your terminal
Desk 3500 - Serial number can be found on the backside of your terminal
Lane 3000 - Has two stickers on the backside of the terminal. The correct sticker is a square looking sticker on the buttom of the terminal.
For OnePa terminals
Spire terminals use a serial number that consists of 12 characters, including both letters and numbers. The serial number follows the format 123456789012. The serial number can be found on the backside of the terminal. For PSAM terminals On the terminal display, you can look at the center top of the main screen. If it does not say VIKING PA, then you have a PSAM terminal and you can perform a reconciliation of your device. The serial number will appear on the receipt that is printed.
For Castles Npay terminals
By turning around your terminal, you can find the serial number on the backside of your terminal.
You can also get the serial number by pressing [menu] and number .
