Frequently used functions - PSAM

If you have one of our PSAM terminals, please find below the settings for the most commonly used functions on our terminals. You can also download and print this overview of the most frequently used functions.

How to identify your terminal

Reconciliation of terminal

  • Press Menu

  • Press 1

  • Press OK

Entering the time and date

  • Press Menu

  • Press 9

  • Press 6

Refund of purchases

  • Press Menu

  • Press 3

  • Enter service code 7-8-9-0

  • Press OK

  • Enter the amount to be credited

  • Press OK

Load card on the terminal.

Print copy of receipt

  • Press Menu

  • Press 6

  • Press 1

Now you have to choose one of the following:​

  • Press 1 for copy of last purchase.​​

  • Press 2 for copy of last total report

Enabling and Disabling Tipping functionality on terminals

  • Press Menu

  • Press 8

  • Enter service code 7-8-9-0

  • Press OK

  • Press 5

  • Press 7​

Use the arrows below the display, to navigate. Select the desired feature such as "Specify Extra", "Specify Total" or "Disable".

  • Press OK

Note that the terminal will do a restart.

Adjusting volume on the terminal

  • Press MENU

  • Press 8

  • Enter service code 7-8-9-0​

  • Tap OK​

  • Press 4​

  • Press 4​

  • Press 4​

  • Use the arrow keys [F2] and [F3] to adjust the volume.

  • Press OK to save.​

Enabling DCC on the terminal

  • Press MENU

  • Press 8

  • Enter service code 7-8-9-0

  • Press OK

  • Press 5

  • Press 5

  • Press 1​

  • Enable/Disable DCC by pressing the [OK] button.​​

Restart terminal

Restart the terminal by holding down the yellow 'cancel' button and the semicolon button at the same time. Release the buttons when you see a smiley in the terminal display and the terminal is in the process of restarting.
