Frequently used functions - OnePA

OnePA terminals use a security code to protect some of the functions (for example refunds). You need to set the security code first time you start up the terminal. The security code needs to be 6 digits and can't contain sequent numbers.

Restarting the terminal:

You can restart the terminal by holding down the yellow “Clear” button and the full stop/comma button simultaneously. Let go and wait until the terminal starts up (approx. 30 seconds).

Manual end of day:

  • Press MENU (or star * button on some models)

  • Press number 6

Changing time and date on terminal:

  • Press MENU (or star * button on some models)

  • Next press number 0

  • Then press number 2

The terminal will now check the updates from our server and set the correct time and date.

Refunding a payment:

  • Press MENU (or star * button on some models)

  • Press number 3

  • Press number 2

  • Type in your security code

  • Input the amount for the refund from customers receipt

Copy of the latest transaction:

  • Press MENU (or start (*) on Spire models)

  • Press number 5

  • Press number 2

Copy of the last end of day reconciliation:

  • Press MENU (or star (*) on Spire models)

  • Press number 5

  • Press number 3

Copy of the last accepted transaction:

  • Press MENU (or star (*) on Spire models)

  • Press number 5

  • Press number 1
