Our payment terminals are delivered ready for use. Start by connecting the payment terminal to the power source and to the network. There are different steps from there, depending on which terminal you have.

Viking

After you have connected the payment terminal to the power source and to the network, you should activate your Viking payment terminal by doing a manual end of day. A manual end of day is done as follows:

  1. Press [Menu] button

  2. Press [6]

PSAM

A PSAM terminal usually comes ready to be utilized.

OnePA

When the payment terminal starts, it asks for a security code. The function of the security code is to protect the card terminal's functions such as card returns and changes to settings. Enter the security code by pressing the keypad of the payment terminal. The security code must be six digits long and must not contain the same number in succession. After you have entered your security code, you should activate your payment terminal by making a manual end-of-day payment.

The manual end of day is done as follows:

  1. Press [*]

  2. Press [6]

Nets SmartPOS

When the terminal starts, it sets up all your necessary smart terminal configurations. This is indicated by the message on the screen. When using the terminal for the first time, accept the terms on the screen (provided by our partner Poynt).

Once the terminal is configured and paired with your company, select your user and a password to log in. Login is requested to protect company information, as multiple users may have access to the terminal.

After the terminal is set up, your home screen with preconfigured applications will appear. Payments are initiated from the 'Terminal' application.

Payments made during the day are collected in our service. The terminal handles the day-end automatically, and the daily transactions can be viewed in MyNets (my.nets.eu/portal) and the MyPayments app during the following banking day.
