Online shopping

When you shop online as a private individual, you need to use MitID or a self-chosen code to approve your card payments. This is due to EU security requirements.

To approve your online purchases with MitID, you must use the MitID app. You can also approve your purchases via SMS + password.

Activating a new payment card

You can activate your new payment card by phone by following the guide below:

Call Card Activation at 44 89 73 50.

1. Enter your card number (16 digits on the front of the card) and finish with #.

2. Enter your 5-digit activation code, which is shown in the letter.

3. Finish with #.

4. You will then receive the message: ‘The card is now activated’.

Blocking payment cards

• To block Dankort, Visa Dankort, Visa Electron, call 44 89 29 29.

• To block Visa/MasterCard, call 44 89 27 50.
