Activation of Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC)
DCC stands for Dynamic Currency Conversion. With DCC, you can offer your foreign customers to pay in their own currency at your terminal, even if settlement is in Danish kroner. Often you have DCC as part of your agreement with us, so you just need to have it enabled. Read more about DCC here.
You can enable DCC on your terminal yourself by following the guide below. If you're not sure whether you have a Viking or PSAM terminal, you can find help here: How to identify your terminal.
Enabling DCC on Viking terminal:
Press Menu Press 8 Load merchant card Press 1 Press 1
Your foreign customers should now be able to pay in their own currency.
Activation of DCC on PSAM terminal:
Press Menu Press 8 Enter service code 7-8-9-0 Press OK Press 5 Press 5 Press 1 Activate/deactivate DCC by pressing the OK button
OnePA payment terminal:
Press Menu (or asterisk(*) on Spire models) and Press 0 Press 2
Your foreign customers should now be able to pay in their own currency.
